The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has announced that the beautification and expansion of Thokar Niaz Baig’s entry and exit points are nearing completion. This significant development aims to transform one of Lahore’s most vital gateways, improving both its functionality and aesthetic appeal.

- Asphalt paving has been completed on one side of the entry point.
- Milling and asphalt work on the opposite side are progressing steadily.
2. Aesthetic Upgrades
- Installation of NJ barriers along the motorway-facing side is underway.
- Additional features such as visually appealing fencing, modern signage, and monuments are being incorporated to elevate the overall look and feel of the area.
3. Lighting and Accessibility
- Solar-powered streetlights have been installed along footpaths, enhancing visibility and sustainability.
- Ramps are being upgraded to improve accessibility and visual harmony.

Despite heavy traffic in the area, the project team remains committed to efficient progress. They assured the LDA DG that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure high-quality execution without causing excessive inconvenience to road users.
